Letter sent to the Senate Economics References Committee for their inquiry into Third party certification of food. (Submissions close 31 July 2015)
Halal Certification of foods and/or products other than certain animals such as cows (which are required by Islamic law to be slaughtered in a certain way) is a scam, rort and a racket which supplies billions of dollars for the funding of the push for Sharia Law and the Islamification of western countries.
In Islamic law, a food product is either halal (permissible) or haram (forbidden). Apart from animals which have to be slaughtered in a particular way, pig products and alcohol, all other food and drink products are either halal by their very nature, or only require a short prayer to Allah to make them halal. There is absolutely no necessity for a Halal Certification fee to be paid in order to make products halal, let alone an outrageously obscene fee.
Halal Certification Authorities are convincing people by various tactics (the main ones being lying, deception, bullying and harassment) that Australian food and product producers/manufacturers will not have an export market if they do not get their food and products halal certified. This is an outright lie, a scam, a rort and a racket.
It is not enough to force Halal Certification Authorities to label their products. Halal Certification Authorities should be shut down, and the people running them charged with criminal fraud.
